Welcome to the 2023-2024 Dodge County Youth Hockey Registration Site!  

 

All players must register online before September 15, 2023.  Below is information about registration.  Log-in, scroll to the bottom and click on the button to register.

Mite (Termite / Supermite) Hockey Registration Instructions (ages 4-8, born on June 1st, 2013 and younger)


Mite Registration Fees

  • Termites $115 (6/1/15 and 5/31/18)*
    • Typical practice times are Saturday mornings
    • Any changes will be posted on DCYH calendar.
    • Jersey to keep
  • Supermites $250 (6/1/13 -5/31/15)*
    • Typical practice times are Saturday mornings and additional 1-2 times per week"
    • Any changes will be posted on DCYH calendar
    • Jersey and socks to keep

*There are no refunds except if Minnesota Hockey cancels the season due to Covid 19 related issues. Refunds will be issued on a pro-rated basis.

The DCYH board reserves the right to apply the payment to next season if a request is made to the DCYH president by December 1st.  



Youth (Mites and above) Hockey Registration Instructions

USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION:

Every DCYH regular season player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the 2022-2023 Season.

  • Step 1: CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey and pay the USA Hockey fee. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
  • Step 2: Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.  Keep for your records.

COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE
A copy of your child's birth certificate is a requirement at all levels of play.  A "Legal" Birth Certificate is the one on file at the courthouse.  A decorative hospital certificate is not acceptable.  The copy of the birth certificate will be shredded after the player's birth date is verified by USA Hockey.  Please do no send the original.  If your child's birth certificate was turned in previously, it will not be needed again.


DCYH Registration Fees (Fees do not include USA Hockey Fee)

    • Off ice program with OMC trainers

* Players will be provided with a home and away jersey that needs to be returned at the end of the season.  Players that lose a jersey will need to replace it at a cost of $60.  Players need to return the jersey in good shape, normal wear is expected.  Each player will receive game socks to keep.    

There are no refunds*.   The DCYH board reserves the right to apply the refund to the following season if they so choose if a request has been made to the DCYH president via email by December 1st.

*Should a youth player try out for a high school hockey team and make that respective team, a pro-rated registration refund for the amount of ice time used for their youth team will be provided based upon the date of the completion of the high school tryout schedule/team announcement.  For more details on trying out for a high school team and youth team placement, please see the DCYH Move Up Policy.

 



Youth Tournaments

  • Each team Squirt/10U through Bantam will attend at least two tournaments.  DCYH will pay Bantam $3500, PW/U12 $3000, SQ/U10 $2500, Supermite $500 per team for gate fees and tourney fees (use it or lose it).  Any amount over the allowed level amount will need to be paid by the team and reimbursed to DCYH.  
  • If a team Squirt/10U through Bantam level qualifies for a district, regional or state tournament the registration fee will be covered by DCYH.  Gate fees will also be paid for by DCYH. These funds available only to teams which advance.
  • Parents will be responsible for travel and lodging expenses.

2023-2024 Volunteer Deposit & DIBS Hours Requirements

 

DCYH is a volunteer run association of parents. Our parents are encouraged to be involved in parts of making the association run. ‘DIBS’ are measured in volunteer hours and are required by each hockey family. The commitment varies by level of play:

Options for payment: 

1. Enter online payment info.  If DIBS not completed by March 1st then will be charged $500.00.  Must complete all DIBS hours, no exceptions.  

2. Check payment $500.00 to DCYH dated 3/1/2024.  Will be cashed if all DIBS hours not completed.

3.  DIBS buyout $500.00 paid in full at time of registration if you plan to NOT work DIBS.  (multiple children hours and $ still apply). 

Multi-Skater Family Discount

The intent of DIBS isn’t to make people work a lot of hours, but instead to encourage a lot of people SHARE the work. Families with more than one skater get a discount. DIBS is set at the highest level of play, and 6 hours for each additional skater. For example:

Total DIBS deposit for any family is maximum $1000.

2023-2024 Fundraising Requirements

Fundraising is a vital function of the DCYH program.  The proceeds generated  are crucial in keeping costs affordable.  All skaters are required to participate in a youth hockey fundraiser or pay a buy-out fee determined by DCYH.

Fundraiser Raffle

**Raffle tickets MUST be picked up and paid for PRIOR to tryouts (or first 2 days of Mites practices)**

Cash prizes are as follows:

1st - $2,500

2nd - $1,000

3rd - $1,000

4th - $1,000

25th - 30th  - $25

Each player will sell 15 tickets for $20 each=  total of $300.  Need to purchase the tickets and then sell.  No multi-player discounts. You will pay for tickets upon pick up and collect money as tickets are sold.

 All ticket stubs must be returned by December 10, 2024 to be included for the drawing on December 16, 2024. 

Place ticket stubs in the DCYH mailbox at the rink any time between now and December 10, 2024.  

Please DO NOT REMOVE the staple on the ticket stubs.

Write clearly on the ticket stub so we can contact the winners!

Registration fee payment, birth certificate (if not previously submitted), and volunteer deposit online are due. Volunteer deposit has an option of online payment or checks submitted before tryouts. If you decide to give a check, please choose to pay offline. Registration is done online or the player will not be allowed on the ice.  Fundraiser requirements must be met by December 1st or your child will be removed from the official USA Hockey roster and is no longer allowed on the ice.

Also, please read the DCYH Parent and Player Code of Conducts before the season begins and discuss them with your spouse, family and players.  These are found on the DCYH website in the "Parents" section.  All players and parents are required to comply with our Code of Conducts.  When registering your child for hockey with DCYH both parents and players agree to comply with our Code of Conducts or be subject to a penalty to be determined by the DCYH discipline committee or board.
